Payments
• Payments
are made by checks or with a credit card online through
Pay Pal.
• We accept
individual payments or corporate team sponsors. Payments
cover permitting, equipment, officials, insurance, management,
credit card fees, t-shirts.
Refunds
• CUTLER BAY SOCCER CLUB - CBSC is not responsible for any refunds at any time
during the season. If a party cannot continue the season,
is the responsibility of that party to replace themselves
on the roster if they so choose. Also they must notify the
CUTLER BAY SOCCER CLUB - CBSC staff of the change.
Rosters
• Eleven (11) players on the field,
Co-ed (8 MALES/3 FEMALES). Rosters will be checked before
the games for accuracy. Every player who plays must be a
member of CUTLER BAY SOCCER CLUB - CBSC.
Substitutions
• Substitutions can be made “on
the fly” during play. The player being replaced must
leave the field before the substitute enters. A player may
exit the field from any point, but entry must occur at the
halfway line. Any blatant disregard of this rule that results
in an odd man advantage or preventing a breakaway will be
treated as unsporting behavior.
Player Equipment
• Shin guards are mandatory. The
top of the shin guard must be covered by the sock. A player
discovered not to be wearing shin guards will be required
to leave the field and secure proper protection. The team
may not substitute for the player until the next stoppage
of play. The player may not re-enter the field until they
have established with the referee that the problem has been
corrected.
Player Conduct
• A player striking a referee is
automatically suspended from the league permanently. Players
ejected for intentionally striking or injuring another player
will have their case reviewed by CUTLER BAY SOCCER CLUB - CBSC officers and may be
suspended for the rest of the seasonal year. (They must
sit out mandatory five (5) games). A player can be suspended
from the league if the league officers deem his actions
to be problematic or detrimental to player safety and the
league. If ejected from CUTLER BAY SOCCER CLUB - CBSC league, no refund will be issued.
• Players can register and play for
more than one team per division.
Duration
of Game and Length of Period
• A game shall consist of two (2)
40 minute halves. There shall ten (10) minute break between
halves. There will be no overtime during the regular season.
If a playoff games is tied at the end of regulation play,
two (2) five (5) minutes overtime period will be played
if the score is tied at the end of regulation. If there
is no score at the end of the overtime period, the teams
shall proceed to penalty kicks. Teams will alternate the
taking of kicks. The game is ended when one team makes and
the other team does not. All eligible players must kick
(including goalkeeper) before a player can take a second
kick. A team with more eligible players may reduce its number
of players to equate with its opponent.
Sliding
• Sliding tackles will not be allowed.
Sliding to save a ball that is about to go out of bounds,
or shooting the ball is allowed, but only when another player
is not, in the eyes of the referee, in harms way of the
slide.)
• A player that receives two yellow
cards in a single game or a red card will be suspended from
participating in the game in process and suspended at minimum,
from the following game.
Point System
• Three (3) points for a win, one
(1) point for a tie, and zero (0) points for a loss.
Coin Flip/Beginning
of game
• The team that wins the coin toss
at the start of the game will have first choice to kick-off
or choose a goal to defend.
• A team must be ready to play 10
minutes after the scheduled starting time or the game will
be declared a forfeit.
Scores
• Males goals are one (1) point.
• Female goals are two (2) points.
Yellow/Red Cards
• A player receiving a red card will
be suspended for the next game at a minimum; depending on
the seriousness of the infraction. A player receiving 2
yellow cards in a single game will be suspended from participating
in the game.
Referees
• Referees enforce the rules and
maintain safety. They will have the last word. Excessive
arguing will result in a yellow card being issued.
Uniform &
Dress
• Teams must bring their designated
CUTLER BAY SOCCER CLUB - CBSC t-shirts for all the league games or uniforms provided
by sponsors/company. No uniform, No play.
• Due to the impact on grass fields
and injuries to other players, no metal cleats are ever
permitted.
General Behavior
& Sportsmanship
• No drugs or alcohol are allowed
at CUTLER BAY SOCCER CLUB - CBSC site before, during or after the games.
• CUTLER BAY SOCCER CLUB - CBSC staff reserve the right to
restrict play or eject anyone suspected of being under the
influence of drugs or alcohol.
• Obscene,abusive,vulgar,racist,derogatory,sexist
and/or demeaning or discriminating comments or gestures
will not be tolerated. Incidents of such behavior may result
in indefinite suspensions from CUTLER BAY SOCCER CLUB - CBSC league.
• Ejections will be made for verbal
and abusive language to other players, teams, officials,
spectators and CUTLER BAY SOCCER CLUB - CBSC staff, resulting in at least one game
suspension. If ejected, player(s) will be subject to a CUTLER BAY SOCCER CLUB - CBSC
fine of $ 20.00.
• It is suggested for all teams to
“self police” any problem situations in a game.
By having a mutual respect for your team members as well
as the opposing team members and the referees, you are ensured
to have a safe and “red card” free game. Any
players that are issued a red card or a yellow card and
fail to comply with the referees order to leave the game
will result in that team forfeiting the match. As a team
you must take the responsibility for you teammates actions.
Eligible
Players
• All players, including added players, must sign
the roster waiver BEFORE the game of the season in order
to be eligible to play in the tournament. If a player is
not signed in on the roster by then, they are not eligible
for the tournament. Playing with ineligible players in the
tournament may result in a forfeit. This call will be made
by CUTLER BAY SOCCER CLUB - CBSC staff. Pickup players are NOT allowed in the tournament.
